John Bass built Studio A in early 1983 and provided the public with
an affordable 8 Track studio. As soon as the word got out of the
quality being produced from the small studio the customers kept coming.
In 1987 we were mixing down to 2 Track Digital.
In 1990 Arctic Sound grew from 8 Tracks to 16 Tracks. In 1992
Studio B was built. In 1996 an 8 Track Digital Recorder was
added that provided full digital editing. It was linked with the
16 Track to make 24 Tracks available.
In 2004, “Studio C” was built using an innovative design to
enhance sound quality even further. This studio has a
custom Live Drum Room, Band Room, Isolation Booth,
Break Room and a very impressive Sound Room!
Arctic Sound Studios opened its doors to the public in early 1983.
Since then we have strived to maintain the highest quality yet provide our
services affordable to the general public.
